“Trash to Treasure ” is an ongoing project about recycling old garments. I collected these garments from clothing swaps, where participants exchange their valued but no longer used clothing for clothing they will use. I pulverised the garments in a Hollander beater. Afterwards I have melted the material which came out of the machine together with Angelina fibres. These fibres hold the material together. Moreover, it gives it a glossy effect which makes it a real treasure. With this material I will develop ‘new’ products.
