“Upcycling” is a project about recycling denim jeans and creating a more fancy look. I took several jeans apart and with those parts I created moulages. For me a denim jeans is quite basic, but I wanted to create something extraordinary. That’s why I added parts of a sequin top in my design. I also think that femininity is quite important in my designs. Therefore I often use quite a lot of excisions.
